Jim Jennings Transmissions is proud to provide the Baltimore / Washington corridor area with a wide range of clutch services and repairs. As an established transmission service center the corridor.

Jim Jennings Transmissions is fully equipped to solve any problems with your transmission or clutch. The basic function of a clutch is to conduct and control the flow of power from the engine to the transmission. When a vehicle is running, the engine is spinning constantly, but the wheels are not. The transmission serves as the intermediary between the two by transferring power from one to the other. Thus, the clutch is able to keep the engine going while the vehicle is stationary by controlling the flow of energy between engine and transmission. Without it, every time your car stops, the engine would also stop spinning. A worn out clutch will greatly affect the driveability of your vehicle, so it's important to stay on top of all repairs.
